Please join Jayden and Olly for their exciting bushwalk and star gazing evening in the gardens just on sunset.  This is their Adventurous Journey towards their Joey Scout Peak Award with BYO dinner (sandwich, filled roll etc.).  Attending will go towards Joey's OAS Bushwalk Stage 1 badgework.

Activity Information

Please join Jayden and Olly for their exciting bushwalk and star gazing evening in the gardens just on sunset.  This is their Adventurous Journey towards their Joey Scout Peak Award with BYO dinner (sandwich, filled roll etc.).  Attending will go towards Joey's OAS Bushwalk Stage 1 badgework.

Wear: Full Joey Scout uniform (including scarf), warm long pants (trackies) and a warm hat or beanie, comfortable walking shoes (runners) with socks, and a warm jumper or jacket - it may get cold!

Bring: Snacks (no nuts or eggs), picnic dinner (sandwich, filled roll etc.), full water bottle (500ml min), binoculars and compass (only if have at home), insect repellent, small first aid kit, a torch - preferably a hands-free head torch and a raincoat in a small backpack.

Meet:  At Alchornea Circuit gate entrance (across from no. 64 Alchornea Circuit) - Please don't park on the bend and also, walk your child over to the garden's gate entrance.

**NB:  We will be a long way from the toilets in the gardens so, please make sure your child uses the toilet at home prior to arriving.**

**If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please stay home.**
