Don't have the time to commit to be an Adult Leader, but still want to join in the fun?
That's OK - you can still join in the fun by becoming an Adult Helper.
Adult Helpers provide assistance and attend weekly sessions, weekend activities and events, and any overnight Scouting activities. Adult Helpers can also join the Group Support Committee, assisting to run the Group, including co-ordinating and/or participating in fund-raising and promotional activities, applications for Grants, or by providing assistance with maintenance and upkeep of the Scout Group hall and equipment.
Becoming a volunteer Adult Helper is free, but does require you to hold a current Working With Children Check (also free) - if you don't have one, please apply via the Service NSW website. Once you have obtained your Working With Children Check, you can apply to become an Adult Helper via our Registration page - select New Member, Full Member, New Adult Helper.
Please contact our Group Leader, John Hallett (Bandaarr), at GL.1stNarellan@nsw.scouts.com.au for further information or to assist.
