Scouting is an international community, comprised of members from over 160 countries around the world.

At Scouts, children learn life skills such as independent thinking, leadership and problem solving skills, social interaction and responsibility.

Facilitated by trained, volunteer leaders, children experience weekly physically and intellectually challenging activities in the Scout hall, outdoor activities such as bushwalking, cycling, archery, rock-climbing, canoeing and camping, and large-scale events such as Jamborees, where Scouts from around Australia and the World come together.

Offering the widest range of activities of any youth organisation in Australia, Scouting offers participation in outdoor activities, community events, environmental improvements/sustainability and development of creative skills, team work, confidence and leadership.

In Scouting, we encourage, mentor and empower young people to be their best - through contributing to their community, rediscovering adventure, challenging themselves and learning new skills - all whilst having fun!
