Humeoree – Celebrating 80 Years of Hume Region! This is a 2 night all section camp designed to have fun and celebrate 80 years of Hume Region.

Activity Information

This will be a 2 night overnight camp.

Joeys/Cubs will sleep in large 10-person tents provided by the Group. There will be a maximum of 6 persons to each tent.

Scouts/Venturers will be sleeping in hike tents.

Activities for Everyone

The Activities Team has planned a range of exciting challenges, including:

  • Sock Wrestling
  • Crate Stacking
  • Ninja Track

Take a journey through Hume Region’s history with the Heritage Team and enjoy:

  • Shield Craft
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Paddle Pop Boomerang Building and Throwing

Rovers will also be operating an epic Nerf War Base for youth members to enjoy.

Evening Entertainment

The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down! The Rovers will be hosting a Disco and a Campfire, providing plenty of entertainment for everyone throughout the evening.

What to bring:

A pack list is attached. Take 1 set of clothes per day. Full uniform must be worn for opening and closing ceremonies.

Please have your youth pack their gear so they gain the skills of knowing what items to take and how to pack their bags.

Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony will commence at 2:30 pm Sunday, with parent pick-up at 3:00 pm.

Before you arrive: Please ensure your youth has eaten dinner PRIOR to arrival on Friday Evening as dinner will not be provided.

Method of transport to and from the activity: Own.
