Activity Overview

Introductory/Moderate Hike on easy terrain. Our Trail will start in Yanedelora Reserve, through William Howe State Recreational Park and finish within Gundungurra Reserve, at the end of Henrietta Drive, Narellan Vale. 

Scouts must bring: Roll-on insect repellent, day bag, water bottle 500 mL minimum, snacks, head lamp, raincoat.

If you have a First-Aid Kit  and compass it is desirable to bring these.

Drop off: Corner of Mount Annan Drive & Adriana Street (opposite Adrianna Lane), Mount Annan. Pickup: at Henrietta Dr, Narellan Vale.

Activity Information

This Activity is being held to increase Scouts exposure to a longer hike yet on easy – moderate terrain. This will assist Scouts in upcoming longer and slightly more technical. This will support the Scouts growth and development in hiking and appreciation for the outdoors.

Food and Water: Scouts need to bring 500ml water (minimum) and snacks in a suitable daypack.

Clothing: Scouts will need to wear uniform shirt with scarf, preferably long pants, sturdy enclosed shoes for trail walking, additional layers they can take on or off if they are feeling cold or warm, plus a raincoat.

Additional Items to bring:

· Head lamp

· Compass (if you have one)

· First-Aid Kit

· Roll-on insect repellent

· Pencil and note pad

· Any other supplies i.e. maps etc that you receive in advance of the hike
