Activity Information

1st Narellan Scout Group will be holding a BBQ fundraiser at Narellan Bunnings, Porrende Street, Narellan.

We request assistance from as many parents/carers as possible, please, to assist in sausage sizzle cooking/sales on the BBQ (only adults are able to assist on the BBQ).

We are creating a roster of parents/carers who are able to provide assistance at this fundraising activity - please indicate your availability via the TryBooking link: https://www.trybooking.com/CWAWU

Note: Only those time slots for which we still need volunteers will be available for selection. Timeslots in the TryBooking form are for the rostering of adults only.

We understand that not all parents/carers will be available to assist on the day, but may still like to assist in some way. To facilitate this, these families are invited to purchase a virtual sausage and drink and/or a virtual bottle of sauce or bag of diced onion to assist us in our fundraising (more than one may be purchased, of course!) via the TryBooking link above.

We will also have a promotion stand, which will be staffed by our Leaders and any youth member whose parent/carer is assisting at the BBQ - please indicate in the ScoutHub Event form if your child will attend.

Note: Youth members are NOT required to attend if their parents/carers are unable to assist at the BBQ fundraiser. Scouts 13 years old and over, and Venturers, are encouraged to attend to assist in taking orders and staffing the promotion stand.

**Assistance by parents/carers will result in Fundraising Credits towards your child/ren's Group fees for Trek 2027.**

**As this is a Scouting event, all invested members attending are to wear full uniform, including scarf, and enclosed shoes.**

Wear: Full uniform, including shirt, scarf, light tan/taupe or grey shorts/pants (School pants are fine), enclosed footwear (runners).

 

Please bring:

• Snacks,
• Bottle (500mls) of water or soft drink (or you can buy them at our BBQ stand :) ),
• Jacket / Jumper
• Raincoat (if applicable).
